Another Year, Another Successful Annual Meeting
Wood County Electric Cooperative held its 68th Annual Meeting celebration on Friday, October 6, 2006. The New Plainsmen Quartet provided live entertainment for all members to enjoy. WCEC's own Carolyn Burns is pictured above with three of the four members. The Quartet kicked everything off around 12:30 p.m. as WCEC members began filling the pavilion at Jim Hogg City Park in Quitman. The entertainment was followed by the business portion of the meeting which included a video presentation of what your cooperative has been doing during the last year. As the perfect end to a near perfect day, WCEC gave out over 100 prizes to its members.
Thanks to everyone who made this year's Annual Meeting another successful one. We appreciate all our members and are happy to be able to give back to you. We're already looking forward to next year!
