Doug Dickerson 35 Years—No Lost Time!
Doug Dickerson, WCEC Right of Way Foreman, was recently presented with a Safety Achievement Award from David Jones, Texas Electric Cooperative (TEC) Loss Control Specialist for working 35 years without a lost time accident. This award is given through the statewide TEC Loss Control Program in Austin.
The TEC Loss Control Program supports cooperative members by providing a staff of trainers that work at local cooperatives to help train their employees. This department also coordinates the NRECA Rural Electric Safety program and provides OSHA general industry training.
Debbie Robinson, CEO/General Manager, said “ We are proud of Doug’s safety award for working 35 of the 36 years that he has been employed at WCEC without a lost time accident. He has truly set an example for other WCEC employees.”
