Sponsorships and Events

The management at Wood County Electric Cooperative, as a matter of the cooperative principles, is committed to supporting, sustaining and developing the communities where our members are served.  This is done through an intensive charitable giving program that focuses on enhancing the works of educational and civic organizations that reside within the 9 County WCEC service area.

In addition, the cooperative annually implements a $10,000 “Power My World” scholarship program, sponsors 10 area high school students to a weeklong ETREYS leadership camp, and regularly supports FFA and 4-H through bidding at local junior livestock shows.

The cooperative also presents educational demonstrations and presentations regarding the cooperatives structure, electrical safety and conservation.

Priority is given to organizations that foster growth and development of youth, sponsorship of causes that help the underprivileged, and those that concentrate on civic and community development.

To request a donation or sponsorship, or a speaker or demonstration, please download the appropriate form: DONATION REQUEST FORM, SPEAKER / DEMONSTRATION REQUEST FORM  Fill it out completely and follow the instructions to mail or email to Wood County Electric Cooperative, Inc.
