Touring Tree Town USA, east of Quitman, next will be at C&M Grand Oaks Ranch Vineyard in Mineola and the final stop will be Fair Haven Vineyards and Winery near Hawkins.
Clint Perkins, county extension agent, says these tour stops are a sample of the many diverse agriculture and natural resource commodities that Wood County has to offer.
The tour will assemble at the Governor Jim Hogg City Park in Quitman for registration. Coffee and donuts will be furnished.
The buses will leave promptly at 9 a.m. Lunch will be sponsored by Wood County Electric Cooperative. Other sponsors for the Ag Tour include the Wood County Extension Office, Leadership Advisory Board and the Wood County Industrial Commission.
Anyone who intends to take part in the tour must contact the extension office by Thursday, September 22 at 903-763-2924 to reserve a seat on the chartered bus and assist with the meal count for lunch.
