Main Street Program has teamed up with the Grand Saline Police Department, Fire Department and Chamber of Commerce to participate in National Night Out, a crime prevention and safety event.
National Night Out is designed to: Heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anticrime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message back to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
