WCEC is experiencing construction delays for new overhead and underground services due to supply chain issues, labor shortages, increased construction demand and weather disruptions. After payment and securing easements, there is a 2-3 week wait for overhead services and 3-4 weeks for underground services. For underground service requiring a bore, there is a 5-6 week wait. We have added additional contractor crews and are working with supply chain alliances to mitigate delays. We encourage members to plan accordingly, to help avoid delays to projects.
