Submission of any rebate form binds the applicant to the Terms & Conditions of WCEC’s Great Rebates Program.
Wood County Electric Cooperative’s (WCEC) Rebate Program (effective JULY 1, 2014) is an incentive program for current WCEC members in good standing that enact specific qualifying energy efficiency measures.
This program may be modified or terminated by WCEC without prior notice.
Availability is limited. Rebates will be processed and honored on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is expended. Once funds are depleted rebate requests will not honored.
To qualify for any rebate a member must submit an official WCEC form and all required documentation. A member is limited to receipt of $2,000 in rebates annually.
All rebates will be in the form of a credit to a member’s active account. No cash will be awarded. Once all program requirements are met, a rebate credit will generally be applied to a member’s account within 6-8 weeks, unless an application is selected for verification, which may take additional time.
Claims must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.
All rebate claims are subject to WCEC’s review and approval. WCEC reserves the right to inspect the Member’s property and equipment associated to determine eligibility for any rebate offer.
If a rebate submission is incomplete and/or incorrect, or fails to meet any of the rebate terms and conditions, WCEC has no duty to notify the member, but will attempt to return the application.
WCEC is not responsible for lost, late, missing, or illegible rebate submissions, or misdirected submissions. Re-submitted applications will be processed first-come, first-served, based on the re-submittal date.
All documents submitted to WCEC become the property of WCEC and will not be returned to the member.
NO ORIGINAL RECEIPTS, only copies, should be submitted to WCEC. Members should keep copies of all rebate submission documents.
The selection, purchase and ownership of any goods and services are the sole responsibility of the customer. WCEC is not a party to any agreement between the Member and any service provider hired by the Member to install equipment or materials (i.e., heat pumps, insulation) or to perform services (i.e., HVAC tune-ups) in order to qualify for a rebate. The Member and such service provider are solely responsible for satisfying rebate eligibility requirements.
Applicable tax, if any, is the sole responsibility of the member.
All rebates are at the sole discretion of WCEC.
