Members are calling about our plans for rolling outages. If we are directed by the transmission authority, we do have a load shed plan ready. We’ve come extremely close several times but are thankful we have not had to implement yet. If we do, we’ll communicate on Facebook and on our website. Tonight (2/16) through Thursday afternoon (2/18) heavy snow and ice accumulations are likely. So, there is still potential for this based on how heavy the demand gets. To avoid this, we are asking everyone to please conserve. It’s a very dynamic situation and can change at any moment based on load. At this moment we are stable, but it is critical that members continue to conserve!! Thank you for your help as we all work together to avoid this.
