Ben Wheeler Region
Born in Ben Wheeler, TX, Manzell Manley attended Bragg Morris High School in Lindale. Upon graduation he studied at Tyler Jr. College and received his Associates in Management. Following he enrolled in Texas College of Tyler where he earned a Bachelor of Science.
Mr. Manley then spent 36 years working at the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, owned by Goodyear Tire, at their Tyler manufacturing plant where he worked in plant operations. For over 25 years he has been a member of the Community Service Club of Tyler, which gives assistance to the underprivileged and offers scholarships. He currently serves as the vice president of that club.
He and his wife Mildred have attended the Mt. Zion Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Redland for over 50 years and he serves as a Steward there. He and Mildred are the proud parents of 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
